Course title Zipped MBMS

Course description MBMS is a point-to-multipoint service in which data is transmitted from a single source to multiple destinations over radio network. Transmitting the same data to multiple recipients allows network resources to be shared. MBMS is realised by addition of existing and new functional entities of the 3GPP architecture.
The course covers both Core Network and Radio Access aspects of the MBMS architecture.

Who would benefit Engineersworking in the MBMS area and require a thorough understanding of the architecture and functions of the protocols used at different interfaces.

Prerequisites Experience of UMTS and IP networks is recommended
